3ds Max: Auto-Biped Script

If you have a Mixamo Auto-Rigged character you can easily convert it into a Biped character using our free conversion script.



Open your auto-rigged character in 3DS Max.


Use the menus to select MAXScript > Run Script and browse to where you downloaded the conversion script.  Choose the script named AutoBiped and select Open.


A small floating window will open.  Press the Create Biped button and the automatic conversion process will take over!


When the script has completed running your character will be transformed to a Biped system and is ready to use!


Use the File Export option to export your Biped character in .fbx format.


In the .fbx export options choose to Embed Media if you wish to preview your animations with textures and choose Y-Up as the axis.


Visit us as and select "Rig" from the main menu. Just select the file you want to upload!


Biped characters are automatically mapped so you can immediately choose an animation and use the sliders to customize it.


Download your animated character in .FBX format.  Your animations are always saved in the My Purchases section of the user menu.


Download your character as in .FBX format.  Your characters are always saved in the My Characters section of the user menu.


The animation is applied to the biped skeleton!
