I am experiencing issues with using Mixamo Pro characters in Unity 3D. I followed the Mixamo directions using standard characters purchased through the Unity Asset Store and the animations work well using the RootMotionComputer and RootMotionCharacterController scripts.
However, I’m having no luck with getting Mixamo Pro characters to move and animate properly in Unity 3D.
Any help is welcomed.

ChiefPMM,
This is too vague. I will need more information such as what animations your trying to use on the character and if you can even get the animations to play on the character or not.
When I have more details I will be able to help you better. -

Hi Oliver,
We purchased a Pro character, added an idle, walk and run animation. Then exported to Unity 3D. All per the Unity 3D workflow and using the RMC and RMCC scripts. Unlike the successful testing for the standard character purchased through the Unity asset store, the pro character doesn't animate or move properly. I don't remember the specific animation names as I assume that this problem would not be an issue.
Is there a different workflow for pro characters in Unity? Is there an issue with pro characters in Unity that is not intuitively obvious? Are there animations that are specific to pro characters for use in Unity?

Mike, you downloaded animations should be working if there is a problem with them not work period then you may need to send me your project to debug on my end. However after looking over your purchases the animations you bought are all "In place" animations these do not work with the RMC as they have no root motion. You need to redownload them on the same character skeleton but be sure to edit the motion again and change it to "in place" = Off this will create the root motion needed to animate the characters.

I'm having the same issue. I purchased the Zombie Motion Pack through the Asset Store... tried to attach those to a Pro Character Model... no dice.

That is not how they work. The Zombie Motion Pack only works with other mixamo character packs on the asset store. The reason is the pro character uses and entirely different skeleton.

How do I do to apply one of Mixamo motions to a Pro Character?
