Upgrading Java is easy. Simply visit http://www.java.com/download/index.jsp in your browser and click the “Free Java Download” button on the screen.



After downloading, and running the Java installer program, Java should be working in your browser. To test you have successfully installed Java and are running the latest version, visit http://www.java.com/en/download/insta...

NOTE: We recommend using Java versions 1.6 Update 10 or greater. Update 10 added many important features that make Java work better in your web browser.
