Blender 2.59 and Mixamo

Dear Optimonkey,
We are closely working with the Blender developers to support Collada 1,4,1 (and thus Mixamo content) on Blender 2.5x. We will make an announcement when this si completed, which hopefully will be soon. In the meantime you can open Collada 1.4.1 using Blender 2.49 and save .blend that you can open with 2.5x. Here the info about the importer plugin you need.

Hmmh, just spent >100$ to get a file that I can not use because of an outdated format. Everytime I try to to switch between 2.49 and 2.5x the past I ended up in a mess because a lot of things are not compatible in more complex ́models. I hope you will supply a solution soon.
